Transpennine Route Upgrade
The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is a transformative, multi-billion pound railway programme that will better connect passengers in the North between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York.
TRU will transform the Transpennine main line into a high-performing, reliable railway, bringing more frequent, more reliable, faster, greener trains.
Stretching across the North of England between Manchester and York, via Huddersfield and Leeds, the 70-mile Transpennine main line serves 23 stations, crosses over and dips under dozens of bridges and viaducts, passes through six miles of tunnels, and crosses over 29 level crossings.
Andrew Picken, Head of Wellbeing at Transpennine Route Upgrade, states: TRU have partnered with Commsave to provide a different option for our people to manage their finances, inline with our financial wellbeing strategy. Although we don't recommend one particular service, we work with providers to give you access to services that may benefit you through an informed choice. I'm delighted to partner with Commsave to help our people have access to information that allows them to make informed choices around their finances. While also learning how to manage their money by using Commsave's financial education resources.
As a partner of Commsave, those working for a company under the Transpennine Route Upgrade are able to access reliable savings, affordable loans, and financial education.
