The partnership comes at a time of record growth for Trilogy Active and us. Trilogy Active had a record-breaking year in 2024–25, with unprecedented levels of participation, member growth and programme expansion across its portfolio of leisure facilities. Meanwhile, we surpassed 40,000 members for the first time in our history, reflecting growing demand for ethical, member-focused financial services. Stuart Thomas, Head of People and Development at Trilogy Active, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Commsave to support the financial wellbeing of our colleagues, providing them with access to safe and ethical savings and loans as well as tips and tools to develop their confidence in managing their finances. By combining Commsave's trusted financial services with our leisure and wellbeing offerings, we've created a comprehensive support package to truly look after our employees."
As our members, Trilogy Active staff will be able to save directly from their pay, empowering them to develop regular saving habits, whilst also having access to ethical and affordable loans, a free Bereavement Fund and participation in our lottery. Our members also benefit from free financial education tools, including the Commsave Educates app, packed with money management tools and advice.
Matt Goulding, our CEO, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Trilogy Active onboard as a corporate partner. Their staff work incredibly hard to keep our communities healthy and active – they deserve financial services that work just as hard for them. We're not just offering another corporate benefit; we're providing a genuine alternative to high-street banking that puts their interests first. Whether it's payroll deduction, accessing a loan without a credit score barrier, or getting support during tough times through our Bereavement Fund – we're here for the long term, just like they are for their communities."
Trilogy Active operates an extensive portfolio including leisure centres, an independent cinema, community outreach programmes and children's active-play facilities across the Midlands. The organisation also delivers an award-winning junior activity programme and supports the government's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme, serving local communities with a commitment to making health, wellbeing and leisure accessible to all.
We are a not-for-profit financial co-operative whose vision is 'to see a world in which everyone is financially included, has access to responsible credit, a safe method of saving, and the financial skills to manage money wisely and achieve long-term wellbeing.' We have distributed over £120,000 through our Community Fund since 2021, supporting charities, schools and grassroots organisations across the UK.
Matt adds: “Trilogy Active's work inspiring active, healthy lifestyles complements our mission of building financial wellbeing – because we know that when people feel secure, and in control of their finances, they thrive."
